You'd think it would be make feel validated, but it only pissed me off. What do I think? Do what you love and fuck everyone else. Yes, we will always need an audience for our art and you are in a medium that wants immediate gratification via response for your art. Don't allow our consumerist nature in terms of immediacy effect what you are doing creatively. It takes time, especially when doing something worthwhile.
