The Difficult, Adult Question: Do I bring up politics at work...

I don't know.

I know it's potentially awkward.  I know that.  Because eventually, I realized that when you bring up something political, you either get a

"HELL YES!"

or dead silence.

And neither one really makes me want to like the other person more.  Or at least, rarely.

I've been substitute teaching, and I'm finding more and more great people.  Like,

AND I BET SOME OF THEM DON'T AGREE WITH MY POLITICS!!!

So, why should I potentially ruin my comfortable working situation?  Why bother?  So I can turn every weekday into "Thanksgiving at my Racist Mom's"?
